We are so excited to announce our very first camping trip!

This will be a ladies-only weekend event at Garner State Park.

In collaboration with the Texas Outdoor Family, who will be conducting the camping workshop, we will learn how to pitch our tents, camping safety and basics, and much more. We'll have an itinerary of things to do as well as allow for some individual time.

Food, snacks, cooking stove, water, tents, and sleeping cots will be provided per site.

This event is open to our chapters in Austin, Houston, and Dallas.

The cost of the camp is $50.00 and is open to 10 members. Only those RSVPs that have paid their fee by April 4th will be included.

Full itineraries and what to bring lists will be provided to those attending. We will also be hosting a virtual Q&A session prior to the trip.

Travel: Please let us know if you want to carpool. The approximate travel times are:
From Austin: 3.5 hrs
From Houston: 4.5 hrs
From Dallas: 5.5 hrs

Camp Details:
The tents sleep 6 ppl and are 120 x 100 in size. We will be allowing 3 ppl per tent to keep everyone comfortable.

Campsites have both water and electricity, a picnic table, a fire pit with a grill, and a bear hook to hang trash or food. Bathrooms are a short walk away with showers as well.
