We are so excited to announce Dallas Chapter very first solo camping trip!
This will be a ladies-only weekend event at Cooper State Park-Doctors Creek Unit. In collaboration with the Texas Outdoor Family, who will be conducting the camping workshop, we will learn how to pitch our tents, camping safety, basic Kayaking, and much more. In addition, we'll have an itinerary of things to do and allow individual time.
This event is open to our chapters Dallas Chapter members.
The camp costs $50.00 and is open to 10 members. Only those RSVPs that have paid their fee by Monday, September 26th, will be included. Don't Snooze!
Complete itineraries and what to bring lists will be provided to those attending. We will also be hosting a virtual Q&A session before the trip.
Travel: Please let us know if you are willing to drive.

From Dallas: 1.5 hr.
Camp Details:
The tents sleep 6 ppl and are 120 x 100 in size. We will be allowing 2-3 ppl per tent to keep everyone comfortable.
Campsites have water and electricity, a picnic table, a fire pit with a grill, and a bear hook to hang trash or food. Bathrooms are a short walk away with showers as well.
What's Provided:
Food, water, tents, camping equipment, and sleeping cots will be provided.
What to Wear/Bring:
Quick-drying pants/shorts
Long-sleeve shirts (for sun and bugs)
Lightweight fleece or jacket
Rainwear (jacket and pants)
Swimsuit
Water shoes/sandals
Toothbrush and toothpaste
Hand sanitizer
Toiletry kit
Personal Items, etc.
